Isotopolis

Isotopolis is a isotope themed and inspired racing game aimed to inform middle school students about particle collisions and rare isotope creation.

The game aims to educate young students through a fun medium about how rare, radioactive, isotopes are created at the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). Here, the player takes control of a particle themed as a racer, aiming to create rare isotopes by going fast enough and beating other racers. The game was developed by the Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) Lab  in conjunction with the FRIB at Michigan State University.
